Speaking of giants, it was a red letter day for sure as we banked our first ever donation of £2,000 and it was a sincere honour to receive it from none other than of course the chair and board of Make it Macclesfield CIC ,our mentors and brothers-in-arms!

Googling as you do, I found this article from more than 11 years ago,and it made me think how long and how hard the community of Macclesfield have been campaigning to reinvigorate this beautiful town,

UK end of Silk Road to join UNWTO project The British market town of Macclesfield is nego UNWTO Silk Road programme. Following a visit by a UNWTO delegation to the centre of the British silk industry some 250 year was reached to progress discussions
